Learning to swim is an important life skill but it also opens up avenues in various aquatic sports. Learn to Swim the Dartes Way
Doncaster's Clubs
Most of Doncaster's clubs provide their own learn-to-swim programmes in addition to the council lessons running in those same facilities (make sure you ask for the one you want if you have a preference). The vast majority of Dartes athletes have learnt their trade at one of these clubs and still represent their home club in local league galas.
In addition, all three of our lead coaches began at one of these village clubs too, and many of the other coaches seen on deck at Dartes are current Head Coaches of those clubs. It's an association and tradition we're proud to uphold, and the combination of our club teaching programmes and Dartes training scheme has an enviable record of producing top class swimmers.
