Ponds Forge is one of the most popular venues in European swimming, it offers:

• 10 lane competition pool;
• Variable length, upto 50m;
• Constant 3m depth throughout;
• Diving pit (warm up/swim down);
• Electronic timing;
• Substantial viewing gallery.

Car Parking

The pool has its own carpark, but this fills up quickly for big events. There is adequate city centre parking (free on Sundays) within easy walking distance of the pool.

- Lockers: small 50p; large 50p.
- Gerrards showroom is next door.
- Handy city centre location (food, shops, etc).
- Ponds Forge has its own food outlet.

Directions

By car: exit M1 junction 33 (A630), and follow the parkway (A57) into the centre of Sheffield. Then follow signs for Ponds Forge.

Train: leave Sheffield (Midland) station turn right along Sheaf Street and walk past the Transport Interchange (buses) on your left.

Bus: from the main entrance of the Transport Interchange, turn right and walk down Ponds Street past the Royal Mail buildings.
