Yorkshire Masters TeamA trio of DARTES swimmers have been selected for the Yorkshire Masters team who will be competing in the annual ASA Inter County Masters competition on 21st Nov at the Hydro, Harrogate. The swimmers are: Kev Nicholas, Allistair Davies, Dave Cuthbert 6/7th Nov - NEC Short Course Bagcat ChampionshipsSeven DARTES swimmers competed in the NECASA Bagcat Short Course Champs held at the Hydro, Harrogate. Yorkshire RepresentationThe following four DARTES swimmers have been selected to represent Yorkshire in the English schools finals: Katie Johnson - 200m Medley Also Kev Nicholas has been selected as a member of the Yorkshire Masters team to compete in the annual ASA Inter County Masters competition 25th Sept - Coventry SprintsTwo of the young up and coming swimmers from DARTES competed in the City of Coventry Sprints Gala (Long Course). 6/7th Mar - Yorkshire Age Group ChampsGood performances in the first gala of this years Yorkshire Age Group Championships see DARTES swimmers claiming 3 Bronze medals: Bronze - Laura Hirst 200m Free These two swimmers also made 4th place finishes, Laura in the 200m Fly and Keiran in the 200m Free. Richard Brown also made two top eight finishes coming 6th in the 200m Fly & 8th in the 200m Free. A team of 40 swimmers competed beating other teams from Rotherham, Leeds, Hull and Wakefield in a hard contested gala.
