1/2nd Dec- Bradford Xmas Meet

A total of 29 swimmers represented Dartes at the Bradford Xmas Meet held at Shipley. The swimmers won a total of 6 Gold, 9 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals along with 21 other top six finishes.

24/25th Nov - NER Age Group SC

A total of 14 swimmers represented Dartes at the North East Region Age Group Short Course Championships held at Harrogate. The swimmers won a total of 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals along with 20 other top eight finishes:

A total of 10 swimmers represented Dartes at the Mansfield Major Oak Meet. The swimmers won a total of 15 Gold, 7 Silver and11 Bronze medals along with10 other top six finishes:

15th Oct 07 - Head Coach Update

Head coach Roy Shepherdson's employment with Doncaster Council officially ends on Sunday, 4th November 2007. Andy Wallace will take over as temporary Head Coach from that date forward.

We all wish Roy well in his new post and thank him for all his hard work and efforts over the past two years.

We all now need to focus on taking the club forward towards the goal of being the leading short course training club in Yorkshire.

In the short term Andy will re-organise some of the groups, swimmers and training times in line with the current number of members and their required pool time. We have been very fortunate in having a fantastic response from many people who have offered to help DARTES during this transitional period and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them all.

Meetings are set up with the council, and we will endeavour to keep everybody informed of all events as we move forward. We will publish updates at least every fortnight by e-mail, notice boards and the website.

13/14th Oct - Yorkshire Winter Competition

A total of 31 swimmers represented Dartes at the Yorkshire Winter Competition held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers won a total of 3 Gold, 5 Silver and4 Bronze medals along with24 other finalist finishes.

Other Finalists included: Hannah Hirst, Laura Hirst, Reece Fielding, Tonika Holdsworth, Stephanie Hynes, Torin Wilson, Shannon Dodson and Richard Lee

7th Oct 07 - DMASA Individual Championships

2nd Sept - ITU Triathlon World Championships

Congratulations to Dartes swimmer Rebecca Milnes who triumphed  in the ITU Triathlon World Championships on the 2nd Sept in Hamburg, Germany. Rebecca claimed gold in the 18-19 years age group for the standard distance event

27 Jul - 1st Aug - ASA Youth and National Championships

Two swimmers represented Dartes at the ASA Youth and National Championships held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers competing were Katie Johnson and Gareth Tymon

23-26th Jul - National Age Group Championships

A total of 5 swimmers represented Dartes at the National Age Group Championships held at Ponds Forge. Two of the swimmers made into the finals:

The other swimmers competing were Enya Booth, Laura Hirst and Liam Tymon.

A total of 8 swimmers represented Dartes at the Scottish National Open Championships held at Tollcross Park. One of the swimmers made it into the finals:

2-3, 9-10th Jun - NER Age Group Champs

A total of 17 swimmers represented Dartes over the two weekends of competition at the NER Age Group Championships held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers won a total of 8 Gold, 4 Silver and5 Bronze medals along with34 other finalist finishes.

A total of 11 swimmers represented Dartes at the Sheffield No Frills Meet held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers won a total of 2 Silver and2 Bronze medals along with10 other top 8 finishes:

A total of 18 swimmers represented Dartes at the Middlesbrough Open Meet held at Middlesbrough. The swimmers won a total of 11 Gold, 7 Silver and9 Bronze medals along with29 other top 8 finishes.

30-1st Apr - British Championships

Senior swimmer Katie Johnson was the first person to qualify and represent Dartes at the British Championship in nearly a decade. Katie competed in three events at the championships held in Manchester.

A total of 16 Dartes teams competed in the Yorkshire Age Group Team Championships held at Ponds Forge. The teams won a total of 4 Silver, 1 Bronze medals along with9 other finalists finishes:

24th Mar - Yorkshire Age Group Champs Gala Three

A total of 39 swimmers represented Dartes at the third weekend of the Yorkshire Age Group Championships held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers won a total of 3 Gold, 5 Silver and2 Bronze medals along with 11 other finalists:

17/18th Mar - Yorkshire Age Group Champs Gala Two

A total of 31 swimmers represented Dartes at the second weekend of the Yorkshire Age Group Championships held at Ponds Forge. The swimmers won a total of 3 Gold, 4 Silver and5 Bronze medals along with 23 other finalists:

27/28th Jan - Burns Meet

A total of 7 swimmers represented Dartes at the Burns Meet held at Ponds Forge. Amongst tough competition the swimmers claimed a total of7 top ten finishes:
