Dartes Hosted Swim Meets
Dartes currently host four extremely popular open meets during the year. All of them have proved to be very well attended and are hugely popular with teams throughout the region. Why not bring your team along and enjoy our warm, colourful, and friendly welcome.
As an added bonus for 2011, all our meets are to be licenced at Level 4, thus making them eligible for Qualifying for Yorkshire Championshps.

Dartes Minster Meet (Beverley) - 22 April 2012
After its debut in 2008, the Minster meet exceeded all expectations and was a roaring success.
It was held at the newly built Beverley Leisure Complex which proved to be such a favourite location that we decided to host a Christmas Meet there the following year.
Two years later we decided hosting meets the Dartes way was so much fun, we added another one in September at the same venue.
But it was the fun of Minster that set the ball rolling.
At the Minster meet, as with all our other meets, you can expect a great deal of colour and an electric atmosphere. This is our headline meet for the year and we like to go over board decorating the complex and generally making it an occasion that all our guests remember.
We encourage everyone to come along and cheer for their whole team (not just their own children) and have a jolly fun day.
Avoid disappoinment and get your entries in quickly because this meet usually fills up well in advance of the entry deadline!
Minster Meet ...
Dartes B Grade Meet (Adwick) - 20 May 2012
2012 marks the 21st anniversary of the classic Dartes B Grade meet.
That's right, it was first held in 1991 at
Adwick Leisure Centre
and has been going strong every year since.
Held in the Spring, our B Grade always proves very popular with clubs in and around Yorkshire despite limited spectator space.
Awards are presented to the top 6 in each age group - Top Boy and Girl receive a Trophy.
Remember: get your entries in quick and don't forget to book spectator passes in advance!
B Grade Meet ...
September Sprints Meet (Beverley) - 25 September 2011
The newest addition to the stable of Dartes meets is the September Sprints Meet that we're adding for 2011.
It's an all grades (A/B/C) meet with tons of Spot Prizes to add to the excitement throughout a fun Sunday of racing.
Adding to the fun is our Blind Date relay to conclude each session. We aim to bring a little swimming friendship and camaraderie to September by mixing and matching swimmers from different teams - just because we can. Big cash prizes will be shared among the more successful Blind Date teams on the day. Knowing our Meet Management Team, there's a very strong possibility that the other awards presented on the day will also be pretty special.
You'll have to pop along to discover what prizes they come up with, but rest assured they will be well worth winning.
All our meets sell out and this brand new one is unlikely to be any different, so get your entries in early.
September Sprints Meet ...
Swim-a-long-a-Santa Meet (Beverley) - 27 November 2011
Full of festive fun and fast Christmas swimming is the Dartes Xmas swim meet you simply don't want to miss.
This Christmas themed meet is licenced at Level 4, thus providing an early opportunity to gain qualifying times for Yorkshire Championships in the New Year.
This meet usually fills up quickly with all those keen to take the Christmas plunge, so don't delay sending in your entries. It boasts a great end of year format with both 50m and 100m events in all strokes.
Come along and have a Christmas dip this year.
Who knows, you might even see Santa splash his way through a 50m Freestyle, or your own coaches might find themselves entered in the Coaches race!
