Meet Branding at Santa Meet 2009
As swimming pools often look a little boring and bland, we like to go out of our way to brighten them up a little. For our open meets we like to let everyone know they're at a Dartes meet with banners and posters, balloons Santa hats and pretty much anything else we can think of.
So here we have it, courtesy of Andrew Trofimowicz, we bring you ...
... Meet branding -- Dartes style!

| You'd think with so many banners, balloons and fancy table cloths on display in the entrance, we'd have nothing left for the poolside. |
Not just banners and balloons but also a few big canvas photos of some of our National Squad scattered around the window sills.
It all helps create the atmosphere. And of course, we can't miss the wonderful generosity of everyone who donated a raffle prize. Word has it, our biggest and best raffle yet! |

But of course, Christmas wouldn't have been Christmas without good old Santa himself.
He made his first appearance last year so when he asked to come back again how could we say no? |
Of course, we shouldn't forget Santa's little helpers either!
Thank you ladies, another meet well done. |
They weren't the only two either.
Santa's army of helpers were everywhere to help ensure the smooth running of another Dartes meet. Although sitting so close to Dancing Santa as he struts his stuff isn't recommended for next year. |
Ahh dedication for you!
More of Santa's helpers manned the book store. Or to be more precise, they sat at the book store shooting zombies and aliens and occasionally looked up to serve customers. |

You'll have seen this banner at meets around the North East this year.
The Biggest Banner in the World was obviously going to make an appearance in our branding efforts. Here's Mr T trying to hang it from the ceiling. |
So you thought we'd have no more banners left for the poolside after decorating the entrance.
Think again, we had loads left over. |
That's right.
If you're going to brand your meet you've got to do the job properly.
Of course raising the bar again next time might be tricky, but you can be sure we'll try. |
