Photo Gallery: Yorkshire Age Group Meet, 2009
Another successful weekend of swimming. 4 Gold medals on day 1 of the 2nd weekend and 2 very unexpected NQTs.

The day began, as these days often do, with a girlie dancing contest while the boys warmed up.
Head cheer leader Miss T ... Oh that's too easy. Add your own ending! |
Take 1 ...
We think our girls won the contest, the smiles suggest they think so too. Oh wait, there's someone missing. |
Take 2 ...
She had to be physically held in place, but Jess was caught on camera eventually. The boys popped up at the back too. And that Caitlin girl is very shy don't you know: "Honest I am". Yeah, right. |

But now to business.
It was tough, Leah (right) gave her a good fight, but Princess Sophie, ruler of all that is Breaststroke, won through in the end. One Gold and one NQT -- Job done! |

One day it'll happen.
One day he'll stay awake long enough to race all the way through a 200m.
Today was that day! What did we say at Harrogate? Looks like Blake's the latest to be affected by Joe's charm. |
But Joe wasn't the only young gun with a 200m Backstroke in him.
The even younger Mark Beech is playing follow my leader. Say Cheeeese Mark, and wave for the camera. |

It's not easy remembering your address when there's a shiny trophy at stake.
After holding up the presentation while he tried to remember where he'd come from to sign for the trophy, Mark was finally allowed to lay his hands on the silverware. Next time parents, send your kids to meets with their name and address tattooed somewhere on their body ;-) |
A tough swim for Richard to take Bronze in the 200m Fly.
And he followed that up almost immediately afterwards with the final of the 100m Freestyle too. |
Very nearly missed Max out today, but we knew there'd be an uproar if he was.
A Gold, a sensational 100m Freestyle NQT, and a bunch of minor medals. All in a day's work. |
Ooops!
How did that get in there :-( Oh go on then Peter, run your strapline competition. |
