It was a cold weekend by the pool in Leeds the week before Christmas. Our target meet for cycle 1 was Christmas Cracker, a meet we don't remember doing en masse before. It's about as close as any meet will get to the Christmas break, so the timing really couldn't have been better - except for the weather!

It's Christmas so you hope and pray for snow.   You just don't expect it inside an aquatics centre. Our boys do their best to keep warm pool side, but James gives the game away.   It's a bit chilly!
Freshly returned from his arctic adventures, young Joe came properly equiped for a day by the pool.   Later on there will be a Polar Bear hunt and diving for Killer Whales.
Who skinned the snow leopard?   Who cares who skinned it, its fur is lovely and warm. Either that or they quite fancy a new handbag each.
No girls, you're not going to scare away the other leopards roaring like that.
When the cold comes in, and the snow is settling on the ground, there's only one way to keep warm.   Everywhere you look in Hull over the winter months you'll see people walking around with a tiny reindeer on their head. Guaranteed to ward off frost bite.   Clearly Coach Tom knows a thing or two about the John Charles Centre in December, he came prepared.
