NER BAGCAT Championships, 2011
A brilliant couple of weeks at North East Regionals for the Dartes team. 10 Gold medals later would see us finish as 5th best club in the North East and 2nd best Yorkshire team. The challenge will be to build on that performance for next year.

Coach Dave attempts to hang the Bourbon Boy with his own Bronze medal.
May that be a lesson to you - share your chocolate biscuits!!! "Nooooo Neverrrrrrrrrrrr" |

No one quite knows where the inspiration for Jarvis' new look came from.
As with so many things around the double NER Champion, some things just happen! |

The might of Dartes Backstroke.
200m Backstroke Champions for the past 2 or 3 years, and but for an upset in the 100m which dropped Joe to Silver, they would have done the same in that too. Yes Rob, we see you in the background. |

Runner up in the Girls BAGCATs.
More Backstroke Gold (100m) and Silver (200m), this time for the girls. The mighty T-Rex also came home with Freestyle Gold to help her climb up the BAGCATs table. |

Watch her Pete, she's after your coffee.
BoK's Coach Debbie and Hull's Coach Tom join us beneath the big red banners. It all makes for a very friendly poolside. |

A little too friendly perhaps.
Coach Tom took quite a shine to our Jamie. The spongiest hair in the world just isn't safe from disbelieving hands. |

A master class in 100m Backstroke.
Right to left: Gold, Silver, Bronze, 4th; 11, 12, 13, 14; NQT, NQT, NQT, just 1sec off NQT but closing in rapidly. Two squads and two coaches, neither of whom can swim Backstroke for toffee. How does all of this happen? Who knows, it's a bit of a mystery. |

Medal Heavy Posse.
Add them all up, 6 swimmers owning 16 medals between them! Some people try to tell us swimmers don't need to train as hard as we do to compete at NER Championships. Rest assured, to achieve what these guys have done this year, you really do! 6 swimmers, 16 medals - Awesome! Another 8 are floating around too. |

Most of the team from Weekend 1.
While most of the boys were warming up it was team photo time with the girls. |

The Circle of Feet
We've done the circle of heads before, this time we've decided to challenge you a little more. Can you identify which pair of feet belong to which swimmer, coach, or team manager? Answers on a postcard to the usual address please. |

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
Coach Wallace challenges the boys to a console battle poolside. Looks like we're not banning them afterall. |

Guess Who?
No, not Amber. That would be far too easy. Who's the girl from Hull hiding alongside her? |

Promoting Healthy Eating
Tyler takes a second out of her busy schedule to top up her energy stores with a very healthy and nutritious snack. We do train them well. |

Leader of the Gang
A big thank you to Derek and all his friends in white who made this meet and every other meet possible. |
