Guidelines for Photo Opportunities
Here are a few guidelines to help everyone get the most out of photo opportunities with Dartes.
Guidelines
Team Photos
When taking part in a team photo try to follow these guidelines:
- Unless otherwise stated, black team shirts should be worn. Those with current National Squad 'red' shirts may wear them as a privilege, but other special event shirts should only be worn if they are black.
- Wear black trousers (or as dark as possible); tracksuit, black jeans, etc. Alternatively, bring something black to cover up your legs.
- Make every effort to look smart and present yourself proudly during the photo session.
- Remember to look directly at the camera at all times.
- It would help if anyone with spare black Dartes shirts brought them along for those without.
- If appropriate, remember to bring along trophies, medals, pendants, etc.
In short, try to be an integral part of the team rather than trying to stand out.
Photos for the Website
Photos are often submitted for the website from open meets or other events. If you expect to be in such a photo please try to be wearing team kit when it is taken. When attending presentations assume someone will pop up with a camera and be sure to wear a Dartes t-shirt at the very least.
Do not attend presentations in just your swimsuit!
If you wish to opt out of having your photo on the website, simply contact the webmaster and any photos of you will not be used. If you are included in a group photo you can be pixelated out.
