Middlesboro Open Meet, 2008

Every once in a while, we take a very select group of athletes away to a top class open meet and stay in a hotel for the weekend. Just swimmers, coaches, and chaperones. Call it what you will: team-building; reward for all their hard work; or just plain stupidity; it's usually huge fun and enjoyed by all.

Which begs the question: why do we only know of one photo from our 2008 adventures?

Despite their best efforts to look every bit like clueless new recruits, Katie and Emma managed to return from the 2008 Middlesboro open meet with a Bronze medal each.
