What is DARTES?
In 1976 the Doncaster Metropolitan ASA (DMASA) established
a swimming training scheme, later to become known as DARTES.
Its purpose has always been to provide Doncaster's ambitious swimmers
with:
- top class coaching;
- training time to compete nationally;
- a collective identity at swim meets.
Individually, the DMASA's small village clubs couldn't hope to
compete with top city clubs. Brought together as DARTES,
these clubs can, and have, done just that.
The achievements of DARTES
swimmers are on display in the honours
section.
