Calendar of Events

Phase 2-5

A series of Level X timetrials will be held through June and July to update times for the full range of events. These will take place during morning training for Phase 3-5 and evenings for Phase 2. This is an opportunity to achieve qualifying times for the meets coming later in the year.

No entries are required, we'll attempt to cover every event. Just be sure to approach these time trials in a serious way.

Phase 5

A warm up meet for the GB Olympic Team. This will be an expensive meet as it will be operating under COVID restrictions ith specific bubbles of athletes staying in official hotels only. It is only suitable for those at British Championships level.

It's an option if you need high-level competition, but is not advised for this year due to the pandemic.

Phase 2-4

Use this as an opportunity to perform events other than 50m sprints (use September Sprints for those). Full meet details can be found on the Beverley Barracudas website.

Another opportunity for some open meet racing.

Phase 2-5

The Festival of Swimming series of regional meets replaces the end of season summer National Championships for 2021. This is set to be a county-type meet for Yorkshire affiliated swimmers and will be held in conjunction with other events held nationally by the regions

Full details will be released in time, but 100m/200m events, 50m/400m Freestyle, and 200m/400m IM are expected to be included.

ABC

This meet is perfect for A, B, and C squad swimmers looking to compete outside of Doncaster. Discuss with your coach if this is your first time entering such a competition and you're not sure of the process.

Phase 1-4

An opportunity to update times for the shorter events.

Parents of any Dartes swimmer competing at this meet are strongly encouraged to lend a hand with the running of the meet. The tasks to be filled are very easy and most won't distract you from watching your child swim.

Phase 4 and 5 swimmers should check with their coach whether this meet is suitable for them.

Phase 5

Normally Phase 5 don't compete in this meet, but for 2021 the option is there for anyone within the speed limits who would like real-race practice.

The age-group meet will take place in half the pool while the Youth meet takes place in the other half. Swim down facility will be available in the diving pit, but will get crowded.
